Installing on WhatsApp

WhatsApp is by far the most popular messaging platform used by people around the globe.


You can connect your chatbot to a WhatsApp Business account using the WhatsApp Business API.


In case you do not have a WhatsApp Business API, you can contact our sales team at hello@i-genie.co.uk. They will assist in getting the same.


How do I configure it? 


Step 1: Go to ‘Channel Configuration’ and browse to WhatsApp

Step 2: Click the ‘+ WhatsApp Business Account’ button

Step 3: Enter details


Phone number: 


Enter the phone number of the WhatsApp Business account, select the bot you want to map with this account, and finally select your WhatsApp Business API provider.


Currently, i-genie supports only Unifonic, Twilio, 360Dialog & Meta. In case you are using a different provider contact hello@i-genie.co.uk and the arrangements will be made


API details: 


All the API providers have separate input field requirements. Enter these fields which are easily available from your providers portal and hit ‘Save’.



Step 4: Copy the webhook URL generated 

After hitting ‘Save’, you will see a URL generated in the webhook URL field. Copy and paste this URL on your providers portal so that i-genie can access the incoming messages from your API and provide the necessary response from the bot.
