Installing on SquareSpace

Having i-genie on your website can give a fresh new look to your old and beloved “.com”. The user can embed the bot either on the single page or can embed on the entire website.

Installing bot on single page: 

In-order to embed the bot on a single page, the user can follow the following steps; 

Step 1: Copy the snippet from ‘Channel configuration > Web > Configuration’

Step 2: Go to the desired page where you want to embed the bot

Step 3: Hover and select the page setting (menu gear against the page name)

Step 4: Under the page settings screen, select ‘Advanced’

Step 5: Under ‘Advanced’ settings, select ‘Page header code injection’

Section to add the code will appear

Step 6: Paste the snippet in the block editor

Step 7: Click ‘Save’ to apply changes

Installing bot on whole website: 

In-order to embed the bot on the whole website, the user can follow the following steps; 

Step 1: Goto ‘Settings’

Step 2: Under ‘Settings’, select ‘Advanced’ 

Step 3: Under ‘Advanced’, select ‘Code injection’ 

Step 4: Scroll down until you see the ‘Footer’ section

Step 5: Paste the code in the ‘Footer’ section

Step 6: Click ‘Save’ to apply changes
