Installing on Facebook Messenger

Facebook is definitely a popular channel for businesses to automate their customer interactions. Especially for businesses in the B2C space.

How do I configure it? 

Step 1: Go to ‘Channel Configuration’ and browse to Facebook

Step 2: Click on ‘Connect to Facebook’. A pop-up window will open and ask you to sign in to Facebook and provide permissions to the i-genie app

In case this popup does not open, please check your browser settings as you may have enabled a setting that blocks the popup to open

Step 3: Select Facebook page to connect bot with

After you have successfully given permissions to i-genie, the window will close and you will see all the pages you are associated with on individual cards.

Select a Facebook page with which you would like to connect a chatbot by expanding that card.

Step 4: Check status

Click on the dropdown and select the bot that you would like to map to the selected Facebook page.

If the bot’s status is turned on then you will see ACTIVE written on that page. And if the bot is turned off, you will see INACTIVE.

If there is no status, it means there is no bot connected to that page.
