Customise live chat screen

The users in i-genie have the ability to customise the live chat screen as per their preference i.e they can opt what they would like to see and what they would like to hide. 


Following are the areas where the users can bring modification; 


  • * Show / Hide Left menu bar (Chat status, Labels)
  • * Show / Hide Right menu bar (Qualification details, Labels, Related conversations)


Hiding left menu bar will hide options like chat status, labels etc..


The users can follow the following steps in-order to hide / show the left menu bar

1 – Access the ‘Live Chat’ screen

2 – Click on ‘Menu Gear’ icon at the top to hide or show the left menu bar


Hiding right menu bar will hide options like qualification details, labels, related conversations etc..


The users can follow the following steps in-order to hide / show the right menu bar

1 – Access the ‘Live Chat’ screen


2 – Click on ‘Person with right arrow’ icon at the top right corner to hide / show the right menu bar


The arrow will point left in the icon if the bar is already hidden and that the user would like to view the bar

i-genie smartly closes sections based on device width, meaning, if you are using a device with screen size >= 1440px, you will see all the sections of the live chat visible 

If scree size is between 1280 – 1440px, you will have the contacts column collapsed & if the screen size is <=1080px, the conversation list and contact column will be collapsed
