Action Block: Salesforce

Salesforce action block is to be used when you want to create a lead on your Salesforce account.

If your bot is built to generate leads for your business, then you can automate the process of creating a lead on Salesforce, by using the Salesforce action block.

How do I set it up? 

Step 1: Add the action block by clicking on ‘+’ sign

Step 2: Choose Salesforce

Step 3: Enter your Salesforce Organisation ID

Step 4: Choose the environment

If you are using the block for the first time, it is wise to choose the ‘Sandbox’ environment to test it out & once confirmed, change the environment from ‘Sandbox’ to ‘Production’ 

Step 5: Map your Salesforce fields

User can map the Salesforce fields with the variables defined in the bot builder. This way whatever values stored in i-genie’s variables will be mapped against the Salesforce fields that user choose here

You can map both default and custom fields of Salesforce here

The maximum number of fields you can map is capped at 50
